After much thought, I have decided to hold up the Premium Membership idea (View details here) and offer these two functions back to all our forum members. (Previously disabled to reduce the increasing running cost of the forum*)

I don't think any open forums, either guitar related or not, were willing to offer such features because of the big increase in bandwidth usage and server storage requirement.

I love this features and really think they can add values to our members giving them the authority to attach and view pictures, have them well organized and probably displayed in the forums. I hope everyone here will find them useful and enjoy using them as much as I do.

Donations are totally voluntary but if you want to support this place, your generous support will serve as a great encouragement to me, and enable me to keep up with all expenses for keeping this forum active.

*Our page views increased from 600-800 per day three years ago to approx. 5000 per day with over 700 members adding an average of 5 new members per day. Big Grin (This alone, is a big encouragement to me!!)

thanks ed!

i think that all of us who can afford a collings guitar can afford at least a buck or two a month to help support this great resource that lets us share our experiences and discoveries, meet like-minded people, compare models and, yes, feed our gas syndrome.

Bill Colling's twelve-fret slot head triple-O size guitar, made to an obsessive level of perfectionism, and sounding like wind chimes on acid, is as close to perfection as one is going to ever come in a six-string fingerstyle instrument. --Mandolin Bros Review || 000-2hss | 000-18wg | prs_c22 ||
