I have been fretting about this for some time, and it is probably a simple answer, but It seems like a tough one to me. Do the Waverly "Gold" tuners really have any gold in them at all? If they do I'm sure they are just plated, but even that is a little difficult to swallow. The prices that Waverlies go for make them all seem like they are gold, but the difference between the base metal and the gold doesn't seem all that much to me, certainly not enough to be gold.

Well in the Stewmac catalogue it says that they are made out of Gold plated brass so you better believe them Wink
