Hey all,

I just won an antique tortoiseshell comb off of ebay, and am planning on making some picks out of it (it is a really ugly comb, but will make a few great picks). Does anybody have any experience with bending, cutting, sanding, shaping, and polishing real tortoiseshell? Any advice would be really appreciated. Again, I want to stress that this tortoiseshell is legal, obtained from an antique.

Thanks so much,

Michael
