I am still debating if I want to start gigging with my Collings, or just drag a Takimine or something around on stage. I hate the thought of smacking the mic stand, smacking the bass player, that funky smoke smell that never comes out, and all the other stuff that goes with playing live music, I saw a friend of mine actually spill a half a beer into the danged sound hole of a 66'
D28....makes drilling seem mild by comparison...I guess Lyle L don't worry about stuff like that

Dredpicker, I have a 2002 D2HA and I had a Fishman installed before I took it home from the store. It sounds fantastic on or off stage, I would'nt have a problem doing it again on another Coliings guitar.
Well, unless it was a Brazilian, then I don't think I would do it.
