I was thinking about ordering a D1A when I played a friend's new OM1G. Now I think that I may order a D1G instead.

Have any of you had any experience with Collings mahog/German guitars and dreadnoughts specifically? What do you like or not like about them? How does their tone compare to the mahog/red spruce combination? Any opinons will be appreciated.
