I was wondering if anyone here knew of a good luthier in eastern NC that could work on my bourgeois. I have not been satistied in my set up and can't find anyone who can do sll the things you guys talk about. I have done some things myself but am not willing to start filing down nuts (boy that hurts to say).
Thanks

The nearest guy to you that I can think of is Jim Grainger in Sparta, TN, still quite a ways off.. I have NOT actually seen Jim's work, but he has a good reputation and I know some of the people who've recommended him.
