The battery in my B-band is only lasting about a month – I’ve had the guitar plugged in less than ten hours, total.
Any experience with problems that would cause it to be shorting out?

Beats me. I"ve never had a 9 volt die on me in a pickup installation in less than two or three months, and that's gigging four hours a night a couple nights a week, plus practices. Something's wrong, but I ain't a techie. That's one reason I play a K&K pure western mini; great sound, and there is no battery involved at all. Simple is good. Except in a preznit.

+1 on the K&K mini!

"preznit?" What's that?
