I've had only extremely piezo-y sounding results from B-Band. Right now I'm back on soundhole pickups, as I don't currently play solo, and often suffer drums: a passive Baggs M1/Seymour Duncan Acoustic Environment pre for some semblance of subtlety, a Fishman Rare Earth/Fishman Pro EQ for brute force.

I'm using the L.R. Baggs active I Beam in my Collings Om2h and my two LJ Martin guitars. They sound very good but I do use a good preamp D.I. box, the Highlander acoustic pro to shape the sound and possibly fight feedback. I also have the I-mix in my Taylor 810. It had just the I-Beam alone but when I started using it more in a band situation it helped with the under saddle element for louder venues. I prefer not messing with under saddle pick ups because it may change the sound acoustically. But a good pre-amp really helps most pickups, and I've been pretty happy with the Baggs stuff. I had a friend with his K&K in a Goodall do a comparison against the I-Beam in my Collings and we couldn't tell that much of a difference.

I have always used a Fishman Natural undersaddle pickup because that is what my Collings dealer recommended to me, back in 2002. I have it on my D2HA and play it at small to medium rooms 50 - 300 people, and it has always been good enough. I think it sounds good, but hard to tell from where i'm standing.
I wonder if there's a website that compares or rates the sound level of these pickups.

Papi, the only pickup comparison website I know of is Doug Young's page. It's been useful to me.

I have an LR Baggs Dual Source in my Borges and I'm entirely impressed. When using the condenser mic there's no hint of that tweezed electric high end that every other pickup I've used seems to have. NO pickup can equal a good external microphone in a good room, but for the first time I'm able to get VERY close in a pinch. I have to say that I was completely surprised when I first used it, never before having high expectations for pickups.
