I would like to install a pick-up in my OM2HG.
It is a wonderful sounding guitar as it is and in no way do I want to alter it's strictly "acoustic" voice.
I play into a PA 90% of the time, but would really like to have the option of "plugging-in" on occasion and "shaping" the sound.
There are so many choices out available, and I am almost at the point where I say "screw-it" and leave well enough alone. Thoughts?

Start with Doug Young's pickup site:

COnsider a dual source system, with a good external preamp, with separate eq for each channel before blending. A headphone out is a nice feature. That signal can be sent to a PA, or your own powered speakers or acoustic amp.
