I've just ordered a K&K pure western mini for my Martin HD28. I play in a band with drums, bass, piano, elec. guitar. It gets reasonably loud, I have heard the k&k is prone to feedback and was wondering if anyone has used a K&K in a similar line-up and if so how'd it go?

I play in two bands, one of which has electric bass and a full kit drummer. Another acoustic guitar (sometimes me on electric) and four or five voices. Louds pubs. I play through a Baggs Para-DI I had before I discovered K&K, so I presume their own preamp would be ever better suited. That said, I have yet to have feedback issue number one. Dozens of gigs, crowds to 200, but not true rock, hard core volume. More country rock, swing, r&b. I don't use a dread, usually, in this group, but I do play a CJA in another band, and also with the bigger group at full scale practices. Some eq adjustmets, rolling off a touch of bottom end, and still no problems. I know these pickups aren't perfect, but they're as close as I've found, and I've looked. Hard. For years.
