Anyone have experience with the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra? On paper it has all of the things I'm looking for in a basic home studio: Pro Tools friendly, 4 XLRs with phantom power. Not sure about the USB--FireWire's supposed to be better. Having said that, I've heard that this unit has much less latency than the Firewire MBox2 Pro.
Anyone have hands-on experience? |

I don't have experience with that particular box, but I do have an M-Audio Duo and it is a wonderful unit. It is USB and I've never had any trouble with it. Built like a tank and the mic preamps are excellent. I just wish it had 4 XLR inputs

I've been told that USB 2.0 is at least as fast as Firewire and in some cases, faster. Maybe some techie Forumites can weigh in on this.
