From every one I've seen, they have a fairly vintage tone. Some are a bit brighter than others, but for the most part, they have that 59/60 335 darker tone to them.

that is the guitar I speak of.

They had a black one at summer NAMM in Austin last July. Fell in love with it right then and there.

And it's even sweeter looking in person.
