Well right now at this moment
i have a great thing Shecter Synyster Custom,
but
the SDuncans in it nowhere near hard enough
for my test
im lookin for a good active insane sound
with alot of great distorted sound behind.
Mainly im lookin for a great Hardcore music
styled guitar.
Now there are 2 guitar's i am considering
A Jackson KingV
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jackson-JVX10-X-King-V?sku=512235

and a Ibanez RG
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-RG370DXGP...ic-Guitar?sku=512367
the black/blacked designed one

Well to me and Jackson is good and all. I mean Rhoads use the guitars so u know they gotta be good.
See though, im a bigger Herman Li fan, with his Ibanez.
So i would love to hear yours all suggestions for a good hxc styled guitar ( mainly Ibanez ) but if u now of any good guitars like this please
help me out
thanx

I worked in a Ibanez dealer for years and have to put my two cents into this one. If you're looking for heavy sound with separation, superior floyd rose tremolo, and better build quality, go Ibanez. There are so many options too...7 string...upgraded pickups. The neck profile is wicked fast--thin like paper but strong.

Happy to answer any specific questions about either of these guitars...have played them both before moving to jazz and acoustic exclusively.

If you do enough research, you can find out the exact setup of most well-known guitarists. If, for example, Herman Li's sound is what you're after, start hitting websites and guitar magazines, etc., and if necessary, try to contact Li himself and find out what equipment he's using. The sound you're looking for probably can't be found in a guitar alone -- it's going to be a combination of the guitar, effects, amp, speakers, power tubes -- everything. (we won't even talk about playing technique . . .).

By the way, my family lived in West Virginia for many years -- what a beautiful state . . .
