I can't say much else. Kind of speechless at the moment. I've been waiting for something like this for years and years... June is now a looooong way away.

I think this might be the best tool for electric guitar. Balanced outs for recording, amp sims, cab sims, stompbox sims, post effects, Digital I/O, etc. This here thing!

I've used what you guys have mentioned. Both of them. I think they're very good, but here's the thing: you can use both of them as inserts with the G-System. I don't think that, alone, either of these is going to be a true, all-inclusive front end for your rig, whereas the G-System can be, assuming that you use it correctly. At any stage, if you have a "better" piece of gear that you'd prefer to use (compressor, chorus, overdrive, preamp, etc.), other than what's in the TC, you can insert it. If the inserted gear is not being used, turn it off with a click of the pedal - it's out of the chain entirely.
TC effects are of the highest quality. Their chorus is famous and their 2290 delay is (one of) the industry standard(s). Both are included in this box (the 2290 is probably limited in functionality compared to the real deal).
How good the rest of the effects are is yet to be seen, but I have faith. And if I don't, there are those 4 inserts that can take whatever pedals you like.
I don't work for TC, and I'll probably be let down in the end, but I'm still pretty excited about this box's "potential."

Yeah, I was just messing with you. I think the effects system you linked too is way cool. I just don't use a bunch of effects...yet. I'm basically straight into the amps. I do have a Vox modeling amp that has some built-in effects, but I only use things like delay or reverb on it usually. The G-system does look pretty cool.
TC stuff has a great rep and I'm sure it's a great box, but I'm still a Line6 fan. I've used a POD Pro for years and the Vetta II adds to that with more models, more effect, and yes, a loop that can be used to patch in outboard gear. And being that it is the modeling/effect engine built into a 2-12, 150W combo makes it great for studio and live.

I've heard some great things about the Carl Martin Quattro pedal, kind of an old guys analog version of the TC - or maybe a really good updated version of the old Ibanez all in one pedals. Whatever it is, I want one.
People don't know what they want, so they want what they know.

To help round out this topic, I have since bought the G-System about which this topic was started and it's truly a great piece of gear. Sound is just as good as it was expected to be and it's intelligently designed. Very flexible and the software updates keep making it better. When combined with your favorite amp it's a huge closet full of inspiring sound options.
