Have I lost my effing mind? Am I seriously thinking that six thousand effing dollars might not be too much for an electric guitar? Someone shake me. I must be dreaming.

I would just about rob a bank or sell kidney for this thing!

SoCo at Gryphon

Here's the SoCo in Tobacco Burst. Hey, it's not $6K. It's only 5.5! LOL

Allen:

1. You have lost your effing mind (not necessarily a bad thing).
2. $6K (or $5500) isn't too much for that particular electric guitar, since we both know exactly what goes into it.
3. There aren't too many SoCos in existence righ now AND it will always be a relatively limited number compared to other Collings models.
4. So, what are you waiting for?!?!? Wink

Well, Geoff, old buddy old pal, I ended up "settling" for a 290. Oh, the sacrifices we must make at times in pursuit of our art. Smile

Allen, we could put some f holes on that 290, so it would look a bit like a SoCo. I'm pretty good with a Sharpie.

just trying to be helpful,

Allen's guitar? David's Dremel? I've gotta be in on this one. It's way to good to pass up.
