Has that same kinda "mad scientist" look about him that Bill has. Kindred spirits, and incredible pickups on equally incredible electric guitars. Someday, the tide be comin' back in and I be buying an I35 again.
Don't look at that elephant, Harpo! I love that color, but if I get back in that game- which is not looming any time soon- I kinda lean toward the tobacco quilt, like I had for a few brief shining moments (rip mr goulet). On a up note, the sale of the OM1A short scale is all but complete, and the OM1 koa that's been a museum piece at Cotten for well over a year is coming home, hopefully next week. A great, gorgeous guitar, and neither Kim nor I has the foggiest why no one bought it. Now, I'm kinda glad. My son played it at our youngest daughter's wedding six years plus ago, so it has an emotional element. I'm a chick flick kinda guy. You can have all the explosions and car chases; they do nothing for me. Guitar scenes do, though. That red Gibson was the star of Back to the Future.
Yeah, Jason's a great guy and his customer service is outstanding - as are his pups...

Great pickups and fantastic customer service! I have a '97 Les Paul with stock pickups - the bridge being very hot (13.8k). I researched via internet quite a few manufacturers. I was already biased toward Lollar because I knew how picky Bill was and if a pickup is good enough for him, it's good enough for me. But Jason answered my questions fast and succinctly - even before I bought from him. I hope one day to own a Collings 290 w/ Lollar soapbars in it.
