Hello,

I'm a happy new CL Deluxe owner. Got the Amber one at Hill Country Guitars. Great dealer, btw. Anyways, anyone swap the vintage sperzels with locking ones?

I have locking Sperzels on another guitar and they are superb, but that guitar has a vibrato bridge. With your fixed bridge, there shouldn't be any reason to have locking tuners unless the stock ones can't handle normal playing/bending, which would be hard to imagine . . .

I have them on a Strat and I like how they are easy to string. I never did figure out how to string the vintage style posts. I'm wondering if anyone has done this swap, how the fit was, and if there was any problems.
