Hey, guys. My Houston shop was broken into this morning and the thieves got away with three Fender Custom Shop Telecasters. If any of you happen to run across any of them for sale online, I'd appreciate it tremendously if you'd contact me at kevin@hillcountryguitars.com.

1) Fender Custom Shop ‘52 Telecaster Special Edition w/Humbucker. Serial #: R4691. Honey Blonde, Relic.

2) Fender Custom Shop ‘60 Custom Telecaster. Serial #: R19690. Sunburst, Relic.

3) Fender Custom Shop ‘59 Esquire. Serial #: R22907. Vintage Blonde, Closet Classic.

thanks in advance...kdd

Nothing against Fenders, I have a nice '75 that I really enjoy. But, I am surprised that they didn't touch any of the extremely fine quality acoustics in the shop. Anyway, sorry about the loss and hope they find them.

They walked right past the Collings, Kinscherffs, Huss & Daltons and Froggy Bottoms and straight for the Teles. I think it was a "what's easiest to pawn" thing.

Must be the full moon thing Kevin, we had a break in at one of the construction trailers over the weekend sometime. And they hit our maint. building and took a John Deere Gator.

Sure sorry to hear about this, for both of us.
Must be the wrong time of the month or something.

Thank goodness theives are rarely very knowledgable . The see the glitter of an
electlric and think they are valuable and
certainly custom shop teles are not exactly
not valuable but they are replacable and a
collings or rare boutique guitar is not. The
same exact thing happened my my buddy's shop.
The passed up everything of value and took
a bunch of fender bright colored mex strats.

Yep, thievery is inherently stupid. IT's less trouble to just work for a while and buy whatever it is. Jeez, you can charge blamed near anything with the credit rating of a cockroach.
