Hi, I've just popped my Collings cherry and I'm grinning like I've just lost my virginity. I'm a very proud owner of an OM1SB as of today and it is simply magnificent. I'm living in Northampton, UK and we don't get too many Collings over here :-( so I'm one of the lucky ones. When my fingers start to bleed from playing too much I'll post a photo or two... Gotta go that sunburst is calling.
Thanks for reminding me. The feeling one has holding and playing one's first Collings is truly profound pleasure. I couldn't stop grinning or shaking my head in wonder. (Course, the thing is, most of us feel something similar every time we pick up our Collings, no matter how long we have had them. ) Congratulations, and welcome to the club! Looking forward to the pictures.
Cheers! (And you know just what I mean, don't you?)

Welcome to the UK Collings OM1SB Owners Club. The annual general meeting is held in a 1969 Morris Minor Traveller. There's a secret handshake. I'm not at liberty to reveal any more.
Welcome to this little corner of the net. I too was reminded of the smile on my face the first time I opened the case of my OM. Thanks, and Enjoy! Alan

Yeah, she is an absolute stunner!! Nobody does a sunburst like the Collings gang. You are in for years of pleasure. Both as eye candy and a well made instrument. Congrat!!!! Phillip
Beautiful guitarand stunnung sunburst I bet it sounds as good as it looks. I am also in the UK with a OM1ASB.You don't see a lot of them around although Collings is gaining more of a prescence over here now.

Wow that is an absolutely gorgeous guitar! I am generally not a huge fan of bursts, but if I got one, that would be the color and the style of guitar. What a beautiful choice for your first Collings. My first and only is a c10 Koa and it is also visually stunning as well as bell-ringing beautiful sounding.
