What year was your CW and what did you get for it?

My CW was a 2007 and I traded it back to the dealer for a D2hsb and paid a little difference.

Hi Radio Man,

Perhaps you might get one special order, but what I know as a CW owner is that they only have the 1 23/32nd nut width.

For the nut width to be anything lese would not make it CW. I am thinking that is the word from Bill to the dealer.

Regards,
Mac

I've heard that Bill absolutely will not sway from the CW specs.

As a long time admirer of this guitar I have to agree with Bill Collings. Why mess with perfection?

The original CW does not have a 1 23/32 neck width.

But then again, it's junky old Martin.

Hi emandnatesdad,

Wasn't the original Clarence White's guitar (aka The BONE by Tony Rice who ownes it now), a D28 with a 1&11/16th's nut width, and a Gretsch neck added?

Best Regards,
Mac
