I still have a few older Colling price lists, and none of them have a cost for Braz on them. They all say "call for pricing". Honduran RW was never listed before so I don't know about that one.

I think those lists said "inquire", or something quite like that. Now, you know what they'll say when you inquire.

Ok Mr. Carone, just mosey on down to the old woodshed and choose your woods. However, we only have 300-400 sets of Brazilian left. Real Brazilian.

Thanks collingscowboy for a bit of nostalgia!
Amazing, isn't it, that the mysterious $75 1 3/4" nut width option has held off inflation for the last 15 years?!

Alas PTO, nostalgia is not what it used to be. Pirate, as far back as I can remember they always graded it as you mention, including a few B's now and again. They were, however, awful stingy with assigning AAA's. They could afford to be. I remember roamimg around stacks and stacks of Braz 5ft high.....all for the taking.

I just emailed my local dealer about ordering a honduaran rosewood D1 and what the availability is. I'm not sure if the current price list is the same and still only a $350 upcharge.
For the money, you can't beat the value of honduran rosewood vs. the huge price increase for madi rose or even lower grade brazilian.
