Just purchased my first Collings - should be here in a few days. It's a gently used C-10, sunburst, short scale with 1 and 3/4 nut - just what I wanted. Since I have no Collings dealers near me, I'm kind of buying this one on blind faith, but I have a 48 hour approval window. Having owned and played many nice guitars over the past few years, I am really excited about finally getting my mitts on one of these.

Congrats! Hope it is what you are expecting. The guitar is probably strung with light gauge strings. If you get a chance put on a medium gauge top treble (especially being a short scale). That fattens up the treble a bit.
Regards, Rick

Tim,

Congrats!

You will absolutely love this guitar!

I recently became the proud owner of a C-10, deep body in German and Mahogany that is a spectacular guitar.

You will not be disappointed.
