tonyyelder,
yeah, you are boring us quite frankly. Besides, I was born there before it was even a state. what does this have to do with guitars?. |
Who's "us". did you take a poll? Isn't this the introductions thread? What does belligerence have to do with guitars?
Thanks Buster for pointing yourself out as the resident asshole. Every board has one and i'm always glad to know who it is right from the get-go so there's no confusion. |
Well, I don't suppose you being born there before it was a state has anything to do with guitars Buster. But good to meet you anyway. |

Hi, Tony-Good to hear from someone who is happy and proud of their home. All that and a Collings to boot! Life must be good up your way. Enjoy your Collings and don't let the bears play it as they leave marks when they "paw pick"!

Hey Guys,
I really didn't mean to make you all so mad or come off as beligerent. I enjoy reading the introductions, but gees. I understand tonyelder loves alaska but how about some answers. After his intro, I'd still like to know where in alaska he lives. How long are we going to have to guess. Alaska may be nice but it doesn't mean that the other states are second rate. Kind of like guitars eh? and Zeek, It's Mr. Resident *ssHole to you. |
Oh yeah, I did'nt even respond about the flatpickin comment.
Sorry for coming on so strong, Buster... hard to read folks in email sometimes when all you got is words to go by. And heck no, Alaska ain't the best state... Nebraska is! Hahaha... (if you only knew just how funny that really is).

It's one way to get bear claw spruce without paying the premium. heee heee Buster - your response didn't really sound to me like you were interested in knowing where I live. Re-read and you'll see that I did give a hint - if you were born in Alaska, surely you know that Anchorage is the largest city in the state. And nothing I said suggested that I thought any other state was second rate. Would it help you if I mentioned the negative things about Alaska? I am - as KilgoreKid suggested - "happy and pround" of where I live. "Oh yeah, I didn't even respond about the faltpickin comment." And now you have, but we don't know what it is you are wanting to say, if you don't say it. Is there something else you would like to say Buster? I really, really don't understand what has you so torqued? It was just a silly introduction... |
Hey Tonyelder,
I'm not torqued at anything. telling about where you live and your life is great but either give us more clues, let us make some guesses, or just say where you live. are we suppose to go look in an almanac? I'm with you all the way though on your comment that Flat pickin blugrass music is the only real music worth playing. Let's line all them fingerstyle pickers up and clip their nails. Gotta go for now, but nice to meet you tonyelder. |

Hi everyone, my name is Dave and I'm new here. You may recognize me from other forums or maybe not. At any rate it's good to be here.

hello everyone,
i'm kevin. 32 years old, so i'm probably a youngin around these parts. so i'll make sure and post a bunch of short-sighted responses to show my age. i posted here briefly last year as 'kevin', but lost my password/email account. not to mention i became quickly confused by some with kevin from hill country, so i figured a new account name is in order. i'm a native michigander turned southern californian as of 2000, and have been playing guitar since i was 12. in oct 2004, with wife expecting our first, i decided to take the plunge at buffalo brothers and pick up a 2003 0002H before i entered fatherhood, and the 'brokeness' that it entails. i currently work in the acoustic guitar realm as a design engineer, and am just very enthusiastic about acoustics in general. my heavy metal/hardcore endeavors were given up in favor of a family/career life, and i find my tastes are moving more and more towards norman blake and iron and wine than the harder stuff. my screen name is a reference to another passion in my life, backpacking. for me, there is almost nothing greater than hitting the trail and spending a quiet day hiking and taking in the views. finally, i'm an avid ice hockey and softball player. go red wings! i've missed posting here over the past year, and have made a resolution to do so more. i look forward to contemplating the virtues of englemann vs. adirondack tops with you all. kevin 2003 0002H |
