I've only heard this song once or twice but I loved it so decided to give it a try. I'm not sure how close it is to the real song, but it's a cover...

Matt,

A couple of nice tracks here. What guitar are you using, and what is your recording setup?

I used a Taylor 714ce and A Stereo pair of Royer 122s backed off set up in a 90 degree pattern and a Neumann KM-184 up on the 12th fret. On the vocals I used a Rode NTK. I wasn't all that happy with the guitar, but I had never tried the ribbons on an acoustic so I decided to give them a try. Alone they do not sound all that great, but they do capture the bass frequencies beautifully. So combined with something like the KM-184 (Which I set up a bit higher up the neck, avoiding a lot of low end), they sound pretty good.
