maplebaby,

I watched this today and have to say it is very good and fun to watch. I use to play Little Martha when I was starting to learn guitar, back in the days when there was only vinyl and a scratchy needle to listen, no video. I did not learn it exactly, my ears they do deceive me... but now I get to see what I did not hear correctly. It must be so much easier for newbies to learn with all the great videos out there. Tim Farrell also does a nice version of this as well as Leo Kottke. Great playing!!

Dale, only you can make the Allman Brothers actually tolerable. Smile

Nice work as always! Lovely playing.

Nice job Dale! I've loved that song ever since I was chin-high to a tuning peg . . .

Mapledude, just wanted to say thanks for all the great posts. I am probably about to order a c10 deep in madi and adi. I was considering hog back but I tend to like darker sounds and I'll be strumming hard, so my gut tells me for now I'll go with the madi/adi combo. But it's been great being able to actually hear someone good play a deep c10. I played one a year ago and it blew me away. Hardly ever get to hear one. I have a feeling it's the perfect size for me. Rock on!

thanks all....sure do appreciate the feedback.

mfstout - honestly i like mine better all the time. It has some good mileage on it now and really sounds terrific to my ear. Surprisingly it can be fairly dark even with the adi/hog combo. The deep body has something to do with that no doubt. Very comfortable guitars and can do so many things well. All the best with your choice!
