That Jobim/Gilberto era music just moves me sooooo much. Is there tab somewhere that would help me work toward that? I know the verse section of "Ipanema", but the magazine stopped before the bridge. Drives me crazy. Their chordal structure is so subtle, and I'd love to learn it and include it in my vocabulary. Great tune, great playing.

I'm not really sure where you might find tab for Jobim tunes -- if you want to learn one, maybe the best way is to learn and memorize the melody and chords and then sit down and try to put them together on the fretboard. If you listen to some of the great Brazilian players enough, like Jobim and Gilberto, you'll get an idea of what the rhythm should sound like -- this is perhaps the most important thing, the rhythm is very subtle and beautiful. Put everything together in a way that sounds good to your ears and to your musical sense and see what you come up with. (if your guitar is made of Brazilian rosewood, maybe it helps, I'm not really sure . . .)

The chords to the chorus of "The Girl From Ipanema" in F major are:

/ G flat maj7 / G flat maj7 / B7 / B7 / F sharp min7 / F sharp min7 / D7 / D7 /G min7 / G min7 / E flat7 / E flat7 / A min7 / D7(flat9) / G min7 / C7(flat9)
