I'v had a band in the studio the past few weeks and they leave their stuff in there. So one of them has a 1957 fender strat and i have him going through a fender delux reverb amp that is a vintage reissue. I was messing around the other day and ended up with this. I'm still learning/ teaching myself how to play drums so the drums are not the best but I think they work. I used a Neumann TLM49 and royer ribbon mic on the amp, it sounds pretty good IMO... I guess this song could be described as my "I wish I could play like Joe Satriani" complex.

Nice!! Drums sounded fine (but I like Ringo) Smile. Rock and Roll on the Colling Forum - I love it! Straight into the amp on about 8.5? I have a '56/'57 Strat, which is the only reason I don't have a Collings 290 (yet).
