Since Redavide posted Pete's "Darcy's Guitar", I thought it only appropriate that I post "Kim's Intro" (also by Pete Huttlinger). I recorded this one several months ago.
Now we have both co-owners of Cotten Music covered ... http://homepage.mac.com/mw0705/.Public/kim.mp3 Mike ------------------------------------------------------- http://web.me.com/mw0705/Music/audio.html |

There seems to be a lot of Cotten-Pickin' going on around here . . .
Excellent job on Kim's tune! Guitar sounds beautiful -- which one? |

I think it was the '42 00-17.

it is hard to know what to compliment first - the playing or the quality of the recording...let me just say they are both terrific!
while we have taken a moment to focus on the great shop Cotten Music and the wonderful ladies that own it i want to also remember what a MARVELOUS player the founder of the shop was, Mr. Richard Cotten was! Really a genius on the strings and greatly missed. |

1942 00-17 -- that's not a "pre-war" guitar, that's a "war guitar" -- a veritable weapon in the right hands (ie: yours) . . . I don't know much about Cotten Music, but you always hear good things about these people -- they must be doing something right . . . |
