Let me get the mea culpa out of the way right up front. I've been an occasional offender of what I'm about to describe. Maybe it's a guilty conscience surfacing, but I'm actually thinking this can improve the Forum. Anyway.......
It seems that our FS, WTB or Trade Section has become a mini-Forum for discussions that seem more appropriate in the Acoustic Guitars Section. I'm thinking its probably best to leave the posts in the FS, WTB or Trade Section to those who really are interested in the transactions at issue. Just seems like the fair thing to do, but hey if this doesn't make any sense, I'm OK with whatever folks want to do.
As I said, I've gotten involved in some of those threads, so if it sounds like I'm pointing the finger at others, I'm included. FWIW.

Agreed. It's tempting to comment on some fine guitars there, but we should really refrain from doing so.

I think that if someone has played the guitar for sale, it is nice to hear a third party comment. But usually they're all the same, this is a great guitar. At least you know it is not a bogus ad and that the person can probably be trusted.

Some people use this part of the forum (as well as other parts of the forum)to share their whole life story or talk about another guitar (theirs and how great their guitar is), or worse yet, promote their own guitar instead of the guitar in question/for sale. I say neet to this!
