This is totally unrelated to Collings Guitars, but I was wondering if someone could provide me with some guidance in purchasing a digital camera.

My price range is $500 and I would like a camera that would allow me to send quality snapshots over e-mail, as well as some video capabilities (so I can post some samples from my awesome Collings').

I am not a real technical person, and am not familiar with the latest and greatest technolgies with these critters, as pixel requirements.

Thanks for your help. As soon as I buy one, I will post some pictures of the new OM3 and my OO2HE, as well as some video clips.

Also, is there a good discount store online that I can trust? Not sure I'd want to buy a used one on Ebay.

At that price I recommend the Nikon 885 CoolPix, a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera. I bought one at a higher price a year ago, they,ve come down a bunch. It takes great pictures.

Even if you have to go a few bucks over your budget. They offer a broad price range of cameras.
My wife uses one to take photos for a web site and they turn out great.

And even I have good luck taking snapshots with it. And my digital camera skills are as bad as my guitar playing skills.

This is gonna be like what's the best guitar. My vote is for a Fuji, lots of models to pick from.
