A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Forum! If I have read through everything correctly, today marks the third birthday of our forum. Thank you, Ed, for putting this together for us. You're a true champ! Allen, thank you for organizing the forum gatherings. I'm fairly new to the forum and having looked through the pictures of past gatherings as well as having looked at what's in store for this year, I can't wait to meet y'all in September. And, thank you to each of the forum participants who have helped me by sharing great information about Collings guitars (as well as other fine guitars), who've shared their sense of humor, and who've shared their music via the forum. When I sign in to the forum, it's as if I'm showing up at a family reunion. I very much appreciate the comradery of this forum. You've answered an age old question, too -- no, Virginia, the circle will not be broken. Ed, Rick Slo, Eiko, Rockerbob, others, how 'bout some birthday recordings?!? I think we should each go out and buy a birthday present...that dream Collings Guitar we've each been GASSING over! Happy Birthday!!!

Do you think three years is long enough for a forum to open up?

This forum is much more open (minded) than some other guitar forums on the net today. Big Grin

This is my favorite forum (of course). Just like a great Collings guitar, it's characteristics are:
- Well balanced
- Made up of choice material
- Some of us may have been tapped toned when we were born Big Grin
- Afer 3 years, it's certainly opened up
- Started and maintained by a great leader
- Maintained and supported by members with a mix of specialties and expertice
- "Glued" together by a common bond
- Will grow in value through the years

That's all I could think of for now. I think I'll buy another one now just to celebrate.

My Collings family: OM1A Custom (deep body), 000-2GC, 16" Archtop, & T.N.O. (The Next One )
