To anyone here in the states, especially those who have served or those who have family members who have passed serving this country, thank you.We are so lucky to be able to sit here and talk about things we love like great guitars. Its because of those who have served that we have such freedoms.

thanks. I thought first thing this morning of my four years- 1968 to 72- and of the friends who never made it back, or made it back so diminished they were never the same. I salute them. tom

I never recieved anything but grief for having served (vietnam era). Never got the breaks that the fellas are getting now, that's one of the reasons my head is so messed up.
That's ok, I get to put Prisoner of war plates on my car.

I blame the politicians.

God Bless America.

Yeah, Papi, we weren't exactly welcomed home as war heroes, were we? I grew my hair out as rapidly as possible and dissolved into the population. Outside of my family, not one person, ever, to this day, said thanks. But living well is the best revenge. I met and married my wife during my tour, and the Navy cant' do a damned thing about it. As far as blaming politicians: sure, they get the lion's share. but the people, if they'd ever realize it, can change whatever they want to (theology and Newtonian physics notwithstanding). I personally want to thank you for what you endured in those years, and since. No wonder you like to play your guitar loud. Yes, God bless America, and the rest of His world while we're at it. tom
