I'm new
I'd be grateful for any feedback. p.s. could you tell me if any of my questions don’t make sense because I don’t know the first thing about guitars 1. What type/brand of guitar do you prefer to play? 2. Do you own a guitar? (If you answered no, go straight to question 5) 3. What type/brand of guitar do you own? 4. Where did you buy your guitar? 5. What is your favourite guitar? 6. Do you own an amplifier? 7. What brand/type of amplifier do you use? 8. How many watts is your amplifier? 9. How long have you been playing the guitar? 10. Scoring from 1 to 10 how well would you rate your guitar skills (1 = beginner, 10 = expert/professional musician/teacher) THANKYOU |

This is probably not the right place for your questions. Being a Collings forum you will find mostly Collings owners here, although not exclusively. Being Collings owners, most here are accustomed to higher end guitars, which does bias us to a certain degree. Still, I'll have a go...
1. I have many that I like. Currently my Collings OM3C is my favorite of my guitars, but I also like many other brands and models. 2. Yes. I currently have 20. 3. Collings, Martin, Guild, Gibson, Tom Anderson, Fender... 4. Many places over many years. The Collings from Uncle Kit at the Old Towne Pickin' Parlor in Arvada Colorado. 5. Collings OM3c acoustic and Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Top electric are my favs, but I've also been spending a lot of time playing my Line6 Variax 700 electric guitar. 6. 3 guitar amps, a keyboard amp and a couple power amps. 7. guitar amps are Fender, Ampeg and Line6. Power amps are Phase Linear and Crest. 8. Fender=30, Ampeg=12, Line6=150, Phase=400, Crest=800 9. 30 years 10. 7 |
