Ptoverly, he did indeed (his last post mentioned he'd have no access for 10 days). Just letting him know that his friends are eager for his continued participation.

Yes, absolutely agree, Philco and Tom F. - energy levels are down without Sonoman riffing all over the joint. Just think, though, he'll be positively Dylan-esque after such a long lay-off.

Yep, good ol' Sonoman. Almost -- but not quite -- miss the parts about the "never to be mentioned Alien OM" that he used to mention in every post. And remember when . . . .

I think I see 2 scary eyes gazing at me (Roswell-alien?) from the lower bout. I'm starting to connect the dots.

My, what an interesting gathering, complete with conspiracy theorists and a vulture in the corner by the bar. Short version: ten days in Jackson Hole, way north of town, no "ammenities", no net, no cable. Just stars, cottonwoods balanced on the wind, the voice of God, and bit parts played by buffalo, elk, mule deer, coyotes, ferrets, eagles, osprey.....no, it's not a theme park, and that's why we love it and always will. So that part was a given. But, the saga takes a darker turn. I break my foot (it turns out in three places) our next to last day there. Came home using wheelchair services. Humbling. Went to the ER upon return to "civilization", confimed break, went to podiatrist next morning for cast, came home. Then things got worse. A URI infection (probably from our airline friends) got worse and I was running about 103. I fell off my crutches three times, nearly breaking my left elbow, straining my right foot to the point it hurt more than the broken foot. I was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, and released only this afternoon. So, I never felt, and do not anticipate feeling, any antipathy to this fine forum or its members. My lemonade reference was merely an observation that if some threads were getting snipey or murkey, my nearly two week absense would provide a petri dish to test for the source of infection. So, you may anticipate my pithy interjections, with or without lemonade, and my customary level of participation. But what's up with the "real men play dreadnoughts" subtext cropping up? Finally, Homer, those are rosewood roswellians peering at you from the lower bout. Don't seek help on those grounds; as with my, I have no doubt there are sufficent others. So, what ho, mates, let's talk ad infinitum about guitars, earthly, alien, and otherwise. thanks, all, for you concern, Tom
