I don't have time to read all 42 pages but did anyone suggest that a few of us with deep pockets pitch in and buy a community ToneRite that we could all send around and try for 3 days? I'm just thinking that could actually extend this discussion to over 100 pages.. isn't that what we all want?

We might also email five guitarist friends to urge them to post on the ToneRite thread, offering them health, happiness and a free ToneRite if they email five of their friends to do the same and threatening a curse upon them (their guitars might turn overnight into Baby Taylors, for example) if they don't)

I'm sure there is a way to make this last forever.

There is a Tonerite that is already being circulated around to any forum member who wants to try it for a week compliments of Kerry Krishna.
All you have to do is PM him and he will put you in line. I will not be trying it, I already know it works, but I don't really need one right now.

I'm wondering if there are enough people in the UK who want to do this. I'm up for it.

That'll be happening as soon as I get an address and a money order from Kerry, so I know where to send it! I'm checking the mailbox every day ...

Doesn't surprise me. I remember six pages or so recently on the color of cases.

24 hour update on my second foray with the infamous ToneRite thingy:

I checked the D3A this afternoon. I didn't expect to hear much change in the guitar, but surprisingly, that wasn't the case. There is no doubt that the guitar sounds different, even after only a third of the recommended initial use. Principally, I noticed slightly increased presence; a crisper, somewhat cleaner tone on the wound strings, and a tad better string-to-string balance in the treble register. The tonal shift is relatively minor, but there is definitely something happening, and it appears to be in a good way, instead of the other way around (as per my last experience, which was totally negative in every respect). I played for about an hour, and put the ToneRite back for another 24 hours of vibrating.

I haven't decided if I'm completely enthused about the changes, but we'll see what happens after a couple more sessions.
