Hi Forumers,

With much regret, I have to part with my Lucas KS which is a powerful, balanced monster for flatpicking or fingerpicking!

It's in near mint condition. I like a high action so it's about 7mm off the 12 fret. The last one for sale with finish crazing is $5,600 at smoky mountain guitars, I'm asking $4,500 including shipping to CONUS- that's over 1K less.

Top: Adirondack Spruce

Bracing: Adirondack Spruce

Back and sides: Mahogany

Nut width: 1 3/4"

String spacing at 12 fret: 2 ¼"

Scale length: 25.5"

Finger board: ebony

Torch headstock inlay

Tortoise binding

Fossil Ivory Nut, saddle and pins.

OHSC

I have played that guitar at Smokey Mountain Guitars, & it is a powerful instrument, to find one at $4,500 is a great deal, from what I understand these were built in a very limited number, I wish I had the cash, but alas, I may be offering one of mine before long
Pakhan good luck with the sale

Hi Terence , in what part of the world is the guitar situated at the moment ? I know that you were living in the Far East a while back and sometimes you're in the UK and then again in the States .If the guitar is in the UK , then I'm interested ,if not , I'll pass on it .Cheers Dave C
