I have a friend who's looking for a guitar. Here are his criteria:
"Must be used (and from a widely-known builder)preferably mahogany - like a Collings D1A or a Martin D18 Golden Era, or even a vintage D18. It's ok if it has a pick-up installed (but it's not required). I'm looking to spend $2-3K (preferably closer to $2K, but more than $3K if it's a great deal). It doesn't have to be the best sounding guitar in the world, but it can't be an absolute dog."
Email me at acorvid@yahoo.com and I'll put you in touch.

I have a Huss & Dalton TDR and a Martin D-28CW (Clarence White), which are both rosewood. The D-28CW has an Adirondack top. The TDR would fall in the lower end of his price range, while the D-28CW would fall in the higher end. Let me know if he's interested and I can supply pictures.
Mass Street Music has a great used D-18GE for $2100. Please ask for eric. I just had it for 48 hours and would have traded for it if my silly hands would let me play a dread with 13's
Thanks for the input, y'all. I have forwarded all emails and pm's to my friend, and I think he is checking this thread. I'll remove it when I hear he has found what he is looking for.

B,
1970 D-28. Rosewood, of course. No electronics currently but there is an endpin jack installed. It's seen a lot of livin' in 38 years, but it's sound and has a good setup.

D2HA I'd consider parting with 1 11/16 near mint serial #11200,great balance and projection if your looking for a flatpicker. One of four Collings rosewood dreads in my stable just doesn't get the attention since my D2HB came aboard.
