First off, I'd like to say that I know I am new to this forum, but I am well established on the Taylor forum. I've sold a few guitars over the net (TGF and ebay) and have never had any complaints.

With that said, I have a 2001 Taylor 714 Limited Edition for sale. These limiteds were made with Cocobolo back and sides. This one hase some amazingly flambouyant back and sides. It has a 3-pc back with yellow-ish sapwood running up where each piece meets. There is also sapwood, about an inch or so thick, around the top edge of the sides. The top is Cedar. This guitar is a real player - super low action with no buzzing. It has been played a bit - there is some pick scratching and a little fretwear. There are also some dings on the top, one on the fingerboard binding (near the 2nd fret) and a couple on the underside of the headstock from hanging it on an evil hanger. The dings on the top do not go through to the wood and are not extremely noticeable.

For those of you not familiar with this guitar, it has rosewood binding on the body and the fingerboard, an ebony fretboard and bridge, small dot fboard inlays, EI rosewood peghead overlay, and gold Grover tuners. This guitar does not have a cutaway or a factory pickup, but I did have an LRBaggs ibeam professionally installed upon its arrival. It sounds awesome plugged in. It handles strumming very well and is an excellent fingerpicker.

I'm asking $1900 (firm). Original hardshell case included, of course, along with a humidifier. Price also includes shipping (in the U.S.), which will we UPS ground - unless you want something a bit faster, in which case you'll only have to pay the difference.
