Hi all. I'm looking for a "stage" guitar in which to install a pickup and use plugged in at church. I'm lacking a 'hog dread right now, so I'd like to get one for this purpose that will sound great unplugged as well.

Since I'm likely to ding it up some in use, I'd prefer one that has some existing wear and can be sold for a good bit less than new price.

I'll also be paying via PayPal, so bear that in mind.

Guys, Ernie's post above is almost a year old and I think (if memory serves) he's gone through a couple of mahogany dreads since then ... and now has a varnish D1A.

Mike, you are correct. Thanks for the responses, but I am no longer in the market for a mahogany dread.
