I have a brand new D1 I purchased a few weeks ago from Smokey Mountain Guitars. Still has the factory strings on it and is in dead mint condition. Smokey Mountain's website described this D1 as the best looking and sounding D1 they have ever had. Guitar is extremely well balanced and the top looks more like Adi than Sitka because it has such wide grain. I had no intention of turning this one over but I have the chance to buy a vintage electric that I have been lusting after for some time and would need to raise the funds.
