Bought this new awhile back and was blown away by the tone. Still am. But I (contrary to most) find the bigger body styles more comfortable. Was keeping this for my girls but they want to start playing in bands and we want to get them something a little more kidworthy (carbon fiber with a kevlar strap comes to mind).

The guitar is in outstanding condition, could probably pass as new in a store. Has had an endpin jack and an active I-Beam installed. Sitka/EIR. The classic lap piano tone, handles any style, louder than a lot of dreads, and you can reach those high notes. Original case of course.

Asking $3000 OBO with the pickup + shipping from Colorado.

Fabulous pictures John. Make a very tempting offer. Do you know the year it was minted?

Pretty cute snoozing cocker. Guess he just wasn't as interested as many of us are in this beautiful guitar!

Thanks guys - easy to take good pics of such a beautiful instrument.

Kenny - I bought the guitar in 2005 towards the end of the year. The guy at the local shop called me the day it came in and it never hit the racks. Been babied ever since, never gigged.

instantkarma - I didn't notice the reflection until I was posting the pics and I got a little chuckle out of it. That's actualy about 90lbs of yellow lab. And you're absolutely right, he could care less about much besides his bowl, his leash and my kids - probably in that order.

And may I take this opportunity to add that all of those folks who think Sitka/EIR is a lesser combo need to hear this guitar ;D

And everybody who thinks St. Bernards are the masters of drool need to meet this lab Red Face

Ok Guys, time to start considering trades. Things I would consider for straight or partial trades at this point:

-D2HA in burst
-CJA/EIR in burst
-Composite Acousitcs Bluegrass Performer, preferably without a pickup
-Epiphone Elitist Chet Atkins Country Gentleman in orange (I have a red one already and it's a great guitar - they call them the Country Deluxe these days).
-National Mandolin ('cause they're friggin' amazing)
-Mackie SRM powered monitors
-Mackie Onyx board
-A year long lease on a talented upright player and a drummer WITH frontal lobes Wink

Thanks!
