I noticed one was sold a few months ago on the Forum. These are great responsive guitars, beautifully made. There are not a lot of cedar/rosewood MJCs out there. This one has serail number 393. The MJC is (IMO) primarily for fingerstyle and after a few years, I've moved much more to flatpicking which really is the only reason I'd let it go.
This one was bought new at Buffalo Brothers in 2001. I think new ones are going at around $3400. If I figure out how to upload pics , I can provide them on request but I can tell you other than the usual brushes on the clear pickguard, this is near mint or at least excellent in condition with the OHSC. If you are looking for great tone, volume and ease of playing, this should be considered!
I will sell it outright for $2900 plus shipping. Also will consider trades (plus cash if needed) for a slope-shouldered dread or 12 fret OOO (ad/mah or ad/braz or ad/madagascar)-guitars by Merrill, Lucas, NGC, Proulx and Slobod, etc would certainly get my attention.
If you live near the Portland, OR area, I can show it to you in person.
