This one's brand new - arrived in February. I mistakenly had it listed as a 2007 until recently. I had ordered it in 2007 and expected it to arrive in December of 2007. It's actually a 2008, which the listing now correctly states.

Brian and Randall suggested I price this as upgrade Brazilian rosewood because of its quartersawn nature when I ordered the guitar, but because I got a good deal on this set when I purchased it, I elected to pass on the savings to its future owner. Rockbridge guitars are remarkably consistent, and this 000 has the qualities that make Rockbridge dreads so popular among flatpickers with the additional comfort of the smaller body. 25" scale and Gibson-inspired bracing give a vintage Gibson tone with good volume and sustain. Traditional, but still eye catching. If ordered today, this guitar would be $5350 + upgrade cost for Brazilian of this quality. This one's a great deal at $5200.
