After much deliberation, I’ve decided to sell my 2001 Martin OM-28V. I am the original owner of this guitar. I have made no modifications – everything is original including the deluxe case which has the Martin signature plate attached along with original keys to the lock. I have maintained the guitar very carefully. It rarely ventured outside my home (which is non-smoking), and I’ve monitored the humidity carefully to ensure that the instrument was protected and in top playable form. The guitar is in excellent condition. This guitar has beautiful straight-grained East Indian Rosewood with a tight-grained Sitka top. This guitar has a very full sound – it’s very loud and responds well to both fingerstyle and strumming. I’ve primarily played fingerstyle on this guitar, and I’ve used it extensively in alternate tunings (DGDGBD, CGDGBE, Drop D, and DADGAD) -- it holds up well when tuned down from standard. What a great guitar this is. I’ve used light gauge strings on this guitar for most of its life, but I’ve just recently put on mediums, and I’ve found it responds well both string gauges. There is an ever-so-slight ding in the top which did not break the finish and is generally visible only when inspecting the top close up. I’m asking $2,000.00 for this guitar and that includes shipping to the lower 48 from Minneapolis. If you're interested, please email me at MikeOM2H@gmail.com for pictures. Thanks.
