This is a great guitar but, I'm going to let this one go to free up some space.
Unfortunately, I'm not interested in shipping the guitar. So, if you are a Collings lover and happen to be in NYC, feel free to stop by for a test drive. Please contact me if you are interested. I'm on the west side close to Columbus Circle.

I've priced this D2HG below market value to clear some space. I live in a one bedroom apartment and I'm getting tired of all these guitar cases so, I'm clearing them out. I currently have three guitars for sale just in case anyone is interested. My other two that are for sale are:

I appreciate everyones interest. I realize my choosing to sell it locally is limiting my market but, one would think, in a city of eight million people, somebody would be happy to have a nice Collings for an attractive price. Oh well, there is a bargain here for somebody.

Do what the rest of us do, get some wall hangers and put the guitar cases in your attic or storage locker.
On the other hand, if you'd just offer these up to people everywhere, that Collings would be long gone. Both FedEx and UPS do pickups for a nominal cost... you'd just have to be home long enough to schedule a pickup. UPS stores will even pack them for you and insure the delivery. no brainer

jk, I've decided to sell a Brazilian LoPrinzi dread to get a Collings D. I wish the timing was better - your guitar would look perfect next to my OM3-HG! I have to agree with Kenny B. - open the sale to the world and it will soon be gone.
I have a local buyer that wants the Collings. He is currently out of town. I'm holding this guitar for a few days to give the prospective buyer time to return to the city. I'll post a follow-up when and if the transaction goes through.
Man! The drive from california would double the price of the guitar, but, in the tri state area you have, like, a billion people who should jump at grand theft, guitar. beyond a screaming deal. you might be able to write it off as a charitable contribution. wow. tom
