Howdy,
I'm on the hunt for a used Collings D1A in good or better condition. I'm keeping my eye on eBay, but I thought I'd post to the fine folks on the forum in case anyone is looking to sell one. If you've got one on the market, please email me at dennis_sara"at"yahoo"dot"com.
Thanks,
Dennis

Greetings Dennis,
Buffalo Brothers has a new and a used one that sounds like it's in great shape.

Still looking for that D1A, so I'm bumping this post back to the first page. Seems like I saw a million used ones before I finally decided to buy one. Wink I'd also consider mahogany/adirondack dreads by Bourgeois and Huss & Dalton.
Thanks,
Dennis

Howdy folks, still looking for that elusive standard D1A in used but nice condition at a fair price. I’ve seen a couple in stores, but would rather deal person to person to avoid the music store mark up if possible. I’m patiently waiting for the right guitar and right deal. If you’ve got it, give me a shout.
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,
I dont know if this is what you are wanting but I just picked up a nice vintage Martin and I may be selling one or both of my D1A's. One is a recent Varnish model with a few mild dings, 1 3/4 nut, Vintage Now neck, thru saddle. The other is a few years old, 1 3/4 nut, Vintage neck with thru saddle and wide spacing, pretty much mint. Let me know if these may interest you.

kwoo64,
I have been flatpicking a D2H with a 1-11/16" nut for 9 years. Though I am finally getting used to a 1-3/4" nut, I have to admit that I have a hard time with the other vintage specs, particularly saddle spacing. If you want to PM or email me at dennis_sara"at"yahoo"dot"com with the prices you're looking for on those guitars, I'd certainly consider it, but I'm really looking for a "non-V" D1A.
Many thanks,
Dennis
