I am selling my OM2Koa/Herringbone/Sunburst Collings. This guitar was featured at the 2002 NAMM show, and purchased in the summer of 2002 from Kim Sherman at Cotten Music. The gutar is in near mint condition (there is a very minor finish dull spot on the back of the upper bout that actually came with the guitar, I suspect some minor "NAMM" wear) that can only be seen as a slight dull spot in the correct lighting (Cotten Music was unaware of it until I pointed it out to them).
The guitar has the most intense flamed Koa I have seen (and I live in Hawaii!) with a beauful carmel/light brouwn burst on the sitka top (nobody does a burst like Collings). Wonderfull focused, balanced Collings Koa tone. Standard neck profile, 1 3/4" nut.
I am about to put the guitar on consignment at Cotten Music, but thought I would put it up here first. Kim Sherman at Cotten tells me that the guitar would list new at over $5300 today, she believes they can get something over $4000 for it. I am willing to sell it for $3800+ 1/2 of shipping cost.
