As much as it pains me, I need to sell this guitar. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Quite the contrary, it is one of the best guitars I've ever had my hands on. But I have discovered that I really am a mahogany kind of guy. And after my move halfway across the country and a career change, I need liquid assets right now more than I need a brazilian guitar.

The specs are: Sunburst adirondack top, amazingly beautiful brazilian back and sides, 1 3/4" nut width with a fairly beefy neck, flamed maple binding, herringbone top trim, Waverly tuners, plain ebony fingerboard. The tone is amazing. It is very full, lush and LOUD. You will never have a problem being heard in a jam.

I should have pics by tomorrow evening if not before. But trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. It is one of the nicest looking guitars I've seen. I could go on and on but if you know what a Proulx is, then you are familiar with the quality of Mario's guitars.

Price is $6795 which will include professional packing, shipping and insurance to your door in the lower 48 states in its original tweed HSC. Please contact me at shaungarrity (at) hotmail (dot) com. Partial trades considered but preference given to cash deals.

Thanks for the bandwidth,
Shaun

Oh Jeez. You had to put up some pics. It is virtually impossible to find a Proulx to test drive, much less a used one to buy. Someone with some extra cash (not all that much, considering what it will be buying) needs to jump on this soon. Please don't post sound samples. I'm very afraid, late at night and after a glass or two, that I will buy another great guitar that I do not need...but one that I definitely want.

Oohhhh....come on, you can always use another great guitar! ;-) I don't have any sound samples. But rest assured, it does sound amazing.

from the pics, it looks like a deeper dread than the normal size... what is the depth?

Trades considered, especially something in mahogany. Prefer smaller bodies but would consider dreads too.

If the pinched nerves in my neck didn't limit me to small body guitars, I'd be all over this one. You almost never see Mario's guitars up for sale other than by Mario himself (the owners must pass them on to their next of kin), and the wait on a new one is LONG (if he's even taking new orders at this time).

BTW, I've heard his slightly deeper dreads are LOUD!!! You want to be heard, buy this one.
