Anything out there? My friend is looking for a reasonable classical. Solid top a must, spruce or cedar. He likes my Alhambra 7P, but needs something on a lesser budget. Thanks for looking, mark. PS Austin area a plus.
I have a Cordoba 1a brazilian/german, excellent condition, 1996. Probably doesn't fit the "lesser budget" description, but it can be had for 2500/best offer, and the brazilian is at least AA, worth more than I'm asking for the whole guitar. I'm just sayin'. A screaming deal, but not cheap. Cordoba only makes that model in cocobolo now; no more brazilian. Sound familiar?
Thanks for your response, Sonoman, but the truth here is that you'd have to drop a 0 off the price to get into my buddy's realm. His main instrument is a Taylor 310, just to set the scene.
Sounds like a nice Cordoba though, especially w/Brazilian. That classical world is a whole 'nuther realm, isn't it??
