We'll even consider seeing a non-embarassing one. Are you sure all your guitars were still there after he left? hehe

Charity (a side note/question):
Just curious (since you and Ed are in that area), have you heard or seen Roger Wang from Malaysia? He's a good friend of mine and an amazing fingerstyle player. Roger sometimes opens and plays with Tommy when TE is on that side of the globe.

Yes indeed it was a great day for all of us, trying all the high ends in a day. Alas, regretted Ed's OM2HAV is not here to compare them. Nevertheless we hv a great time & Ed will presented you with some pics taken of our gtrs.

Eiko,

I hv seen Roger performed when he's here on a short gig 2 years ago. This man is a great player. Yes, he can play all of Tommy's songs such as "Daytripper/Lady Madonna", "Classical Gas" & even "Initiation" Looking fwd to yr performance here again

Let me tell you, Paul Padodurai is a awesome player. He hv jammed with the great Tommy Emmanuel a couple of times in KL . That gave you some ideas how good he is. I just brought Ed to see Paul perform last nite.

Ok, you guys have convinced me about Paul. I'll be checking him out as well as converse with Roger about him. I'm sure he's excellent. Nothing like finding out about another great guitar player...and there's more out there! Thanks for sharing.

...no wonder Ed has not answered my emails Big Grin. Too busy with guitar stuff! Sounds like he's having a great time out there.

I am back everyone! I just took a 4 days vacation to SG to meet up with my friend Robin (Tomcat). Tomcat and Charity (thanks again!) took me to one of their friend's place to try out all the guitars mentioned!! I am overjoyed and its the first time I ever tried those custom guitars! I particular loved the McCollum. That 3 hours sure was the highlight of the whole trip!!

I also enjoyed Malaysian guitarist Paul Padodurai's gig a lot! He is not just a fantastic guitarist but a really great singer as well, I hope we have shows like that in Hong Kong.

Attached is a picture myself, Charity and Tomcat took before we head off to try all those guitars. I am the one with the Eagles cap I got during their 2004 farewell tour. We took some group pictures with all those Ryan, Mcollum as well!

Great pose!
Should we assume Charity is on the left and Tomcat is on the right? Nice looking guitars there. Great to match faces with the code-names. Did you have a jam session going with all those guitars?

Cool eyeglass frames there - bossman.
